Fukuoka Shipbuilding （President YOSHIKAZU TANAKA）has announced the delivery of a 26,300-deadweight tonnage (DWT) LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker, designated as N-2112, which was constructed at their Nagasaki Yard. This marks the second delivery of an LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker by Fukuoka Shipbuilding.
Fukuoka Shipbuilding was the first Japanese shipyard to construct an LNG-fueled chemical tanker. The first vessel in this series of LNG-fueled chemical tankers was delivered in May 2024. On 23rd July 2024, the fourth vessel in this series was named and launched at the Nagasaki Yard.

〆福岡造船は長崎工場で建造していたＬＮＧ二元燃料の２万6300重量トン型ケミカル船を引き渡した
福岡造船（(FUKUOKA SHIPBUILDING)は長崎工場（Nagasaki Yard）で建造していたＬＮＧ二元燃料の２万6300重量トン型ケミカル船（N-2112番船）を引き渡したと発表した。福岡造船としてＬＮＧ二元燃料船の引き渡しは２隻目となる。
福岡造船は、日本の造船所として初めてＬＮＧ燃料のケミカル船を建造した。今回のLNG燃料ケミカル船のシリーズ１隻目は２０２４年５月に引き渡した。２０２４年７月23日にはＬＮＧ二元燃料のケミカル船シリーズ４隻目を長崎工場で命名・進水した。
