The vessel was en route to Ningbo Port, China, with a speed of 14.6 knots and was scheduled to arrive at the port at 16:01 on August 8. 寧波海事捜索救助センターは緊急対策を開始し、パトロールボートを現場に配置した。消防タグボート3隻と陸上消防隊も出動した。
